Zing to Win heads to the $100,000 Ron Sayers Memorial Sprint this Saturday at Kalgoorlie and his owners have had plenty to cheer about this preparation. Already securing 4 wins in a row, before a brave run in his last hit out secured him a 2nd placing heading into the sprint.
"Burgers" as he is affectionally known as around the stable, will need some luck, drawing barrier 12 for the sprint. But he does have some relief with only 55kg on his back for the run. It is a good little field and the highest quality he has faced, with the recent city winners Under Influence, Sunny Honey and Prospectors Pick all coming out for the run. Plus last start winner Secret Style sneaks in with minimum weight and an excellent barrier to warrant favouritism for the race.
It's been a fantastic prep for the Burger man, with the lucky owners now netting over $90,000 in winnings and a wonderful "Grand Final" race to cheer him home!
Zing To Win was one of two purchases we made at the 2022 Perth Magic Millions sale, with our other Magic Millions filly Let Sparks Fly also a winner last prep. Has been an exciting last few months for there owners and looking forward for a chance to put the cherry on top this Saturday.
